To ensure I provide a bespoke and in depth design service I break down my services into the following steps:
My Approach:
I provide a hugely bespoke yet friendly design service. My focus is capturing my client’s interior dreams and vision of how they want their home to be and converting them into reality.
I understand the need to balance beauty, sophistication with practicality and livability. I will work very closely with my clients throughout the process to ensure nothing is forgotten.
The Consultation:
I like to start the journey with my clients in two parts:
The first part is to meet up in an relaxed environment, where I can guide my client through questions and ideas so together we can pinpoint their needs, aspirations and focus as to their dream interior. The second part is to coordinate a site visit together (or where this is not yet possible) and run through architectural floor plans.
These two parts helps both of us to narrow focus; in terms of what likes and dislikes and gives me correct direction on how to proceed.
At this point, the proposal is dispatched with full brief details, estimated project budget and timelines along with my fees.
The Brief:
The next stage is to meet and present to the client room mood boards, floor plans and 3D illustrations with proposed layouts with sample materials and potential furniture.
This is a very iterative process and we actively encourage our clients to bring any information – images, articles or ideas to the table. This way we can ensure we are on the same page.
The Concepts:
Once the brief is confirmed, I will proceed to create bespoke schematic layouts, detailed drawings for any bespoke furniture or joinery, along with details breakdown of any finishes and accessories need to complete our clients vision. Along with the drawings, I also provide an itemised list of costs.
At this stage, I meet with the client and all of the above will be discussed in detail and confirmed before proceeding.
This guarantees the client and I are still on the same path in terms of design, timelines and budget.
The Details:
The fun part!! Together, the client and I will complete the process of product sourcing and shopping trips.
I have curated an amazing little black book of interiors so I have a raft of relationships and of course discounts with interior suppliers and trades people who we can meet and work with to ensure everything we purchase and create is perfect whatever the budget.
The Implementation:
The client’s schedule of work will now be outlined and agreed with the client.
Once the site is ready for my teams to start, we will work closely altogether to make sure our designs and plans are carried out precisely in terms of cost and time.
At this point, close communication with the client for me is a must and customer service is paramount.
